PERFORMANCE UNDER STRESS
Plants treated with Acadian® are able to respond more quickly when stress begins as they have been primed for optimum plant function. With this priming, they experience less stress as the plant is able to close stomata upon the onset of water stress to reduce water loss and wilting, and to allow for acclimation to the reduced water levels. This improved functionality results in improved water use efficiency and growth in Acadian® treated plants. Additionally, plants treated with Acadian® have reduced electrolyte leakage, indicating less cellular damage due to the stress.
ACADIAN®-TREATED PLANTS HAVE HIGHER WATER CONTENT
Pepper plants treated with Acadian® had higher water content and were better developed under water stress. They also recovered better when they were re-watered.
